Michael Hauer is Local 600 Camera Operator and member of the Steadicam Operators Association. Besides being a trained steadicam operator, Michael is also equally comfortable on the wheels, handheld, or functioning as a 2nd Unit DP. Always up to date with emerging technologies he has embraced the brushless gimbals as an early adopter of both the Movi and Arri Trinity Systems. While he’s well versed in all methods to move a camera, Michael knows that chosing when and why to move a camera is more important than any technical aptitude. Nothing takes you out of the story quicker than an unmotivated camera movement. He strives to make his camera work invisible.
